Default temp guage fluctuates in the gsr

i have a jdm gsr swap in my 95 civ coupe, runs flawless, but lately its been warming up to running temp and then the guage drops back down to the C. Its clearly heated up because i have vtec and heat......just a bad sensor or thermostat??? not sure let me know what you think thanks

well it could very well be the sensor, but you'll know its your thermostat when your heater only blows out cold air

*edit: i also dont think your guage would fluctuate because of your thermostat, i think it is your sensor
