Default removing engine with trans still in car

I need some help on how to get the engine disconected from the trans. Ive removed all the motor mounts and bolts that posible connect the block to the trans and supported by a hoist but it wont budge its like there frozen together.
is there any tricks to geting it out?
btw. the drive axels and shift linkage are still connected to the trans if that makes a differance and the only thing in the block is crank

the car is a 2000 si

is it even possible to pull the engine off the trans with it all still in the engine bay?

I think you need to use some prybars to seperate them, but i dont know if there is enough room in the engine bay to free the block from the tranny even if you do get them seperated...

6" may be enough, i know you need to slide it off, so youll need as much shimmy room as possbile remember to work around the trans/block with the prybars, dont just go at it from one spot!

are you puling the trans, or the engine. Make sure that you unbolt the intermediate shaft. and the axles are out of the hubs. then just shimmy the trans out. in that case.

dont dink its possibe to jus pull the engine with tranny leaving in the bay. would be easier if u take tranny out 1st then pull the engine out
