It's not really a pertinent topic around here, but I thought I might mention that I am (finally!) almost finished scanning and posting my pictures from the Rolex 24-hr race at Daytona last month. For those of you who might not have checked the GrandAm rules for 2002, the STII cars (like the 41 Acura pictured here) are REALLY simple - very much like SCCA IT rules, and more restrictive in some ways than ECHC. The only catch is travelling around this big ol' country to do the entire series but, if one were so inclined, he or she could build to these rules, race locally, and just run this show when it comes to town...

HART converted there GSR they ran last year into a ITR for the new STI/II rules for this season.
