What octain gas do you use on your GSR?
Suchs to live in California sometimes....91 is the best you have, huh?
I ONLY use 92...no matter the price. That way you're pump trained. In Vancouver, BC...those asshats get to use 94. You believe that?

94 is available in a number of areas, but you're simply wasting your money on it if your car is not set up to take advantage of it or necessitate it.
Acura calls for 91 octane as the minimum.

I would only use 94 from sunoco when i first got my gsr, but now i use 87 (reg) because of that damn fuel price spike. My car is bone stock as well so i don't see a need for 94 octane.

Great idea. Runs great as long as you don't have a cat, or an 02 sensor. I've ran it for a while now, and no problems other than my o2 sensor messes up sometimes, and makes my car break-up during part throttle. But this is only intermittent.

down here in australia, regular fuel is 91 octaine, and most places offer a 98 octaine option for about 10c per litre extra... shell recently released a fuel "optimax extreme" which is 100ron.
im a little surprised that over in the states the quality of the fuel is not that great

You've touched on a number of the reasons why it's not the best option. Avgas contains lead, which aside from the health issues, does not get along with cats or O2 sensors. There are other issues that result from the lead and the formulation being intended for high-altitude use in aircraft engines, which can include problems with drivability and cold starts, plug fouling, etc. On top of all this, it's also illegal, at least when used in a street-driven car. I personally wouldn't run it and I would suggest that anyone else use it either, but you're obviously free to do so if you choose to.
