To all those suffering from the weird "clicking" sound from the front of their R's:
Do you endure an anoying clicking sound from the front of your car? Sounds like dimes clicking together when you load and unload the clutch? I did too until:
I installed a Action 2md clutch. Also replaced the throw out and input shaft bearing. I doubt the source of the sound was bearing related. I bet the sourse of the sound was the springs on the stock clutch plate moving around a bit. Any one have this sound still with a solid clutch disk?

I think we figured out the cause of the clicking here:

I don't get a "clicking" sound, I get a "squeak" springy sound when I depress the clutch. It's a stock clutch with 41,000 miles on it still engaging and disengaging fine, and at this point I only hear it when moving very slowly since the exhaust drowns every other sound out when the car is in motion.

I get the clutch squeak too. I saw a post about in the past but I'm not sure what to search for. It sounds like something is breaking.

I couldn't tell you why, but I had a clicking noise from the clutch pedal a few years ago, and the noise disappeared. There has to be a reason, but I don't know what; nothing changed other than a 30k mile service occurred in that timeframe, but I can't remember when exactly the noise disappeared. Strange.

I get a "thumping" sound when i let out the clutch. Almost like you can hear the ball bearings banging into each other. I think my input shaft bearing is shot.

replacing the axle nuts did NOT solve the problem for me.. I just ignore it now..

I used to get the click immediately after releasing the clutch pedal, but now it happens 1-2 seconds after that; I don't know what the hell it is. This has happened since around 5000 miles. I have a full face unsprung Action 1KS clutch, and if anything the sound is more pronounced.
