i get oil residue on my bumper.
white smoke when i drive hard
put in a magnetic oil drain plug, dont see any pieces of piston rings.
no coolant in oil
spark plug #4 (passenger side) has a little bit of oil on it

compression test was

< driver side - 210 190 190 180 - passenger side >

98 LS
100,8xx miles

what else could the problem be?

 

bad rings u can still have good compression and have shot rings

 

Do a leakdown test, it'll tell you what your engine is trying to say to you. You just need a compressor and a leakdown gauge.
