It is used as a daily driver in Colorado the 17 are alittle ruff on the roads here and I want a wider tire but dont want to lose gearing

Who cares if he wants to switch, quit hagglin buddy

Personally the 16's will increase performance on your GSR, plus they won't look goofy, I say go for it

most likely the 16s will have better ride quality because of the tire height of 45 compared to 40. stock integra gsr rims come with 55 series tires which is why the ride quality is usually better. but the tire brand and type also makes a big difference so search and see which brands are good.

beware of running 16X7 with 215/45/16 tires. the 215 may be too wide for the rims and might look kinda stupid. also, if you are lowered it is more likely to rub. beware of your rims offset as well.

45 series tires will ride better but your suspension is just as important. There's so many ricers out there with lowering springs and blown stock shocks. If the car is too low then it may be bottoming out the suspension too. My car rides super smooth on 16's.

You are aware that JDM ITR's come stock with 16x7 wheels with 215/45/16 tyres, right?

This is not a questionable setup by any means.

yea, sorry if i misinformed anybody. what i said was just my own opinions. i guess i just like the 205 wide over 215 wide. it's probably because i will rub with 215 on my own car and i like how my car looks now with 205.
