OT: How to Make the Best of Seeing Pride & Prejudice with your Wife or G.F.
Its really best if you treat it as a drinking game instead of a movie. Take a hip flask or a pint bottle of your favorite spirits. Whenever anyone in the film uses the word "Mister"... Well, you'll know what to do.
I've lost some valuable stuff in movie theaters while/after playing that game.

Back in my day, a popular game to play at 11:30pm weeknights was "Hi Bob". Old Bob Newhard Show reruns. Take a chug everytime someone said Hi Bob on the show.
For me it's an opportunity to recharge. We have 2 toddlers (1.5 and 2.5 years old, exactly 12 months apart). I welcome any excuse to sit in a quiet place and turn my brain off for 2 hours. In fact, that sounds more appealing than most any other movie I can think of that may force some form of interaction or attentiveness on my part.
I think I'll see if my wife wants to go see it next week.

Good man. It's really a pretty good film. Especially for a date.
They do say "Mister" a lot, though...

Not a bad film at all but if we're watching "Bollywood" films, my vote would be for Monsoon Wedding... it even has a decent soundtrack
