What kind of CD player? the single disc add-on player that's controlled by the stock radio? If so, then yes. I have one in my 95 Civic Si hatchback, it plugged into the stock tape deck (in my case I had the Acoustic Research stock deck like the ones that came with the 94/95 Civic EX coupes). When I got my Pioneer system, I took it out and loaned it to my cousin for use in his 98 Civic DX coupe. It plugged into the stock am/fm radio. Keep in mind the install will be a pain in the ***. Well not really a pain, just time consuming cuz of all the panels you have to remove.

The only thing it doesn't cover is the removal of the panel that surrounds the lower pocket/cup holders/shift ****. That part isn't too hard, you should be able to figure it out on your own. Good luck!
