i really dont know whats better but they will last longer depending on what pads you buy ... like in my case i bought brembo sport drilled all 4 and bought ebc greenstuff pads... and like 10,000 miles i need to get my rotors cut and new pads .. i dont know what your looking for performance or longevity... in my case i wanted performance and you always sacrifice longevity. plus drilled helps them cool down if you have to stop while going fast but i still wouldnt hit my brakes going over 90mph your asking to warp your rotors

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ thats the truth I will be doing that after my motor swap..... under a 100 bucks will get you some nice drill and slotted rotors... pads you should really spend on though to make up for the cheaper rotors

Brembo blanks or autozone blanks should do just fine for street use. If you want some better pads, look into Axxis Ultimates.

if you go duralast and go cheap, it should be about ~$100 for front/rear rotors and pads

I've had great luck with Akebono pads (oem supplier to many import companies). In fact, I almost always install Akebono's on import cars at work, and haven't had any comebacks for noise or unusual wear.
As far as rotors, I've got Brembo cross drilled on the front of my CRX, and they've been great so far. I don't know how much of a benefit they've been over regular rotors, but Brembo's in general are great parts. Again, I haven't had any problems with Brembo units on cars I've done at work.
