Default new toys for weirRacing

bought this for myself for my birthday recently.

this thing is a piece of crap, still not sure why i bought it... oh yeah, it was cheap.

can you say gas lense? well worth what i got them for. makes quite a difference with stablizing the pool. they are hella huge though. the regular cup is above it as a comparison.

bought this in the summer so i had something fun to ride with not quite so much horse power.

U have 2 much money...lol.

BTW, the harbor freight saw isn't that bad as long as you put a decent blade in it. It takes a while to cut through sch 40 304, but clean and straight for 200 bucks ain't bad.

Also, gotta love the full suspension. I love downhil mtn biking... so fun.

HF saws are retarded. Once you work on something nicer I predict you will go "WTF!!?!??!?!?!?!??!?!" about the HF one.

If you don't set the tension and everything it will.

I use my bandsaw almost every day and the blade never pops off, unless I force something into it.

He recommend it to me, and he has built some nice things with it.

Weir...there is nothing with the HF 4x6 bandsaws. In fact, all other 4x6 saws, including the JET saws, are all made in the same factory. If your problem is blade popping off...check all of your blade guides to make sure they are straight and not bound up, and also, on the tension...tighten it almost as tight as you can get it by hand. As blackcrx said, I use mine all day long and NEVER have the blade pop off.
If your having the notorious problem of the thing cutting crooked(by the bottom of the cut, the cut angles in towards the base of the saw), there is a fix. The flimsy sheetmetal stand is a POS, plain and simple. If you make a nice stand for it, and while building it make sure everything is square and true, the thing will cut perfect....I know, I didnt believe it either, until I built the stand for mine. Heres a picture of a nice stand for it:
And to answer Cstays question(not to highjack your thread), yes the gas lenses make a HUGE difference. Once you weld with them, youll never go back. And for the price....why not just buy some...there only a few bucks! Try 'em and youll love 'em.

On mine I had to adjust the backing bearings (guide bearings ) . In the manual it says there suppose to barely touch the blade, well I found out the manual is not always true.

Although when I was using the oem blade ( which sucks ) it was fine, but when I used an after market blade, it became croaked, so I had to adjust the backing bearings ( guide bearings )

All that HF saw is good for is horizontal cuts, the vertical way sucks. I got sick of that saw and just went out and bought A real one.
