Default 92 Engine into 91 EX

The transmission on my 1991 EX died a couple years back and I finally have time to get around to fixing the car. I managed to pick up a 92 engine and transmission for really cheap so I'm thinking of dropping in the engine and transmission. The 91 is OBD0 and the 92 is OBD1 if I remember correctly, so in order to still use the 91 wiring harness and such I was thinking of swapping the head from the 91 engine onto the 92 block. Are there any sensors that the 91 block has that the 92 would not? Also, as far as the transmissions go, are they the same or will it take a little bit of work to use the newer transmission?

Is it possible to use the 91 distributor on the 92 head with the 91 intake manifold etc?

Why go to all that trouble??? Just bolt up the tranny from the 92 and call it a day.

Does the 92 tranny have all the same sensors/connections/etc as the 91? I'm referring to an automatic transmission by the way.

yes. if you want I can do this swap for you.

Everything bolts you just won't be using your "S" button anymore since the 92+ don't have it

Just swap the transmissions over and sell the 92 motor.

Sweet, thanks. Thanks for the offer, but I can handle the swap. This is nowhere near the level of work that I've done on my Civic.

The engine in the car right now is one that I picked up from a junkyard a few years back for $200, so I'm probably going to just drop in the whole new transmission and engine as one unit. Patastinky, according to what you said everything should bolt up fine, correct?
