I've heard to lube the "caliper slide pins," but what are those?

If i were at home i'd have a set of calipers to look at, but i'm about 50miles away and unable to check it out.

I believe its the two bolts in the rear of the caliper, top and bottom. I'm not completly sure about honda's. But I helped a friend with a DSM, and we relubed those to bolts with anti-sieze.

Clean and use silicon high temp lube on the two bolts/slider pins and you can use it on the ends/backs of the pads that contact the caliper as well. Make sure to keep the rotors and friction surface of the pads clean.

not to mention the backs (shim side) of the pads, and guide pins, which is the part of the caliper bracket that the caliper bolts to.

synthetic brake grease...works wonders...
