Default I am about loose it guys, help please

So heres the situation, I have had the jdm h22 from hmotors in my 97 accord coupe for over a month now and its had idle problems, over heating problems, hesitation problems. I am almost at my wits end. It still doesnt idle right I cant figure it out and no one I have taken it to can either. its using p13 with the obd1 conversion harness. But heres the main problem that I am about to blow the car up for. It has the oddest hesitation/ choking problem , ive never seen anything like it. When i put the the gas down like even 1/2-3/4 of the way it responds but its like someone trying to suck in air while their being choked, its going but its not revving near like its spose to. The tach will even jump a bit its like everything is in slow motion, it will going into vtec but at like a snails pace with the gas all the way down. Its like something is holding it from doing what it suppose to be doing. Also in the 1,2,3 spark plug bays had just bit of oil in them nothing on the rubber plug but in the rings of the sparkplug. Also just recently its begin to leave little oil spots. Please help

The choking sounds like you're misfiring in one or more cylinders. Check for spark in all 4 cylinders.

As far as the oil around the spark plugs... Valve cover gasket set at any auto store and repair the valve cover. If this doesn't solve your problem, let us know.

could be a bad dizzy if your tach is jumping a bit. i remember i had to replace my dizzy not too long after i swapped in an h22 (from hmotors as well).

I do know this much from experience. If the oil gets to the spark from the plug either by soaking into the plug or from the wire it will make the engine run terrible. You need to fix the leak for sure.

Disconnect the down pipe from the manifold (or anywhere BEFORE the converter and start it up (After warning the neighbors). See if it improves.

That sucking sound (sounds like choking) can be two things
1) The effect when opening the throttle while the RPM's are too low
2) The sound that H22 makes as it sucks every last dollar out of your wallet.

I suspect you've a restricted exhaust (what's going in, can't get out)
Either that or retarded ignition or cam timing.

if its in limp mode you gotta be throwing lights.

find out what they are...

everything that i can think of that will cause the car to do this would cause it to throw CEL's

unless you got a blown motor but then youll be blowing mad smoke

what's your timing set at...it sounds to me like your timing is retarded enough to make the car hesitate like crazy...

Okay, i have a question. maybe it's because i am total noob. But why would changing the valve gasket help the leak oil in the spark plug hold? from where i understand, it's just the gasket when you take off the engine cover.

thats the weird thing is that it has been fine for like 2 and half weeks nice smooth revs strong vtec and all the sudden this hesitation happened everyonce in awhile and now its full blown.
