im getting ready to do my auto to manual swap on my 94ls.. I have done this swap before on a 96 hatch. but never a integra. is this mount a must? any stock mounts work? has anyone fabricated teh mount? I have plasma cutters and migs and tigs. so I could fab it but pics would be nice
I did this swap on my '94 EJ1. I bought my mount from JDMSh!t.com. It's meant for an automatic chassi, but for a manual transmission. From what I've read no automatic/manual tranny mount will be a direct bolt up without welding.

hmm.. jdmshit.com only carries them for the civic. would it be easier to just find the bracket off a manual teg? the bracket im talking about is the one that is welded to the frame?

so basiclly you used the auto mount that bolts to teh trans and the auto frame mount right? just cut it off the frame and welded it on in a differant location?

We used the manual mount, and the automatic bracket. We cut of automatic bracket off of the frame, and modified it to match the manual bracket before welding it back on in the correct location.

If it were me, I would stay away from welding (probably because I have no experiance with it) and I would just get the mount from Hasport. It is a bit spendy, but they have top of the line products.

i have the hasport mount. I think it makes things alot easier. Especially given that its made especially for this kind of swap. I still have to change my back motor mount cuz it still jumps alot.
