what is the advantage of a bored out throttle body? Will a 65mm throttle body imporve acceleration on a stock ls? And does the manifold and tb have to be port matched?

 

It would kinda of be pointless just to do the throttle body cause there would be a restriction... picture drinking juice through a straw thats the size of a quarter at the bottom, but the top is the size of a pea... You're not going to get much juice, are you?

 

If you port match the manifold to work with that throttle body there will be an airflow increase, but I'd look for power elsewhere first.
