Ok, I'm swapping out my d16y7 for a lower mile d15b7 next month, will the axles bolt right up?

I did a search and it says all d series axles will bolt right up, can someone give me a quick confirmation for me between the two engines. thanks

yes but axels dont "bolt in"

The reason I'm asking is cause the guy I'm buying the motor from had it installed, but the only problem with it was the axle wouldn't go in. He had some people take a look at it and it had them all stumped. So his suggestion was he needed a new axle. Could the problem be more than just the axle?

I will have help during the swap from my mech teacher and some firends. This is my first time doing a swap so I'm just doing my research at the moment. gotta start somewhere
