take the subs out and just use the factory setup!

No, never that. I have them so I can turn them up and use em as a back massager. And my stock setup is long gone already

on the attachment arm for your trunk lid, put a thin plastic(or better yet, urtherane) spacer there.

let me be the first to point you in the right direction...https://honda-tech.com/zeroforum?id=27...you see, honda-tech has set up various different sections in all aspects of car tuning so that one can find the answer to one's question easily in the appropriate forum...unfortunately, this is not the appropriate forum...please follow the link provided and ask away...

Here's a quick fix suggestion: Just un-screw the rubber stoppers/spacers/dampners on the trunk lid. I'm running 1 x 12" in my Accord and after doing that I have no noise at all. However I don't have the stock wing, that might increase the noise problem.

the best way to fix rattle from a system is to turn your system on and play it like you usually do. then go through the car pressing on spots and figure out what is rattling and where it is rattling at. the dynamat trunk kit is a good start but i know what your talking about it doesn't stop all the rattle. In my 5th gen accord i have my entire trunk matted. i mean the bottom, the sides, and the lid. Also, it helped me out a lot when i matted the rear deck. But you really need to just turn your system on and see where it is rattling. Thats the only way you will get rid of it. and after you fix one rattle you will have to listen to see if there is another and so forth. I personally matted my entire car just because i had to keep adding mat to places after they would gradually rattle loose. Goodluck. Also one spot to check is on the sides of the trunk. in 5th gen there is a hole with flaps covering it. i found that matting over this hole kept the rattle down a good amount too. hope this helps.
