helmet/head clearance
ok, got the roll bar questions out of the way, now onto the noggin questions. For the taller guys out there, how is the clearance under the soft top or hard top? I'm 6' 1", will i have issues with a helmet on as well and the top up?
also when you're on the track you will have your top down... (regulations)....
besides.. if you get a roll cage, i'm sure you're going to get some aftermarket bucket seats.... so
1. bucket seats sit lower
2. you can get even lower rails...

The top-down rule is not everywhere. I have participated in a number of NASA events and they will make you put it down.
However, i live close to BeaveRun motorsports complex and if the event is put on by the track, it is driver preference to keep the top up. In tests, with the top up, you gain significant speed on their straightaways, but that shouldn't be a surprise.
I enjoy having the top down at the track, especially on those nice warm days. No doubt my helmet would touch the inside of the roof if I put my top up. But I am also 6'1" tall.
