Default Any remedies for clipping in Infinity system?

I just hooked up an Infinity system in my car with the 611a amp, 10dvq sub, in a small sealed box. The voice coils are wired for a 2 ohm load.
Now the amp clip light blinks once in a while with really loud bass.

Is there anything I can do to reduce this?

Could changing the "Q" inserts in the sub help, currently I have the "low Q" insert should i change to the "mid Q"?

Sure can't hurt to try, or maybe the gain on the amp is up too high? 94

You guys were right the gain on the sub amp was too high... Also I realized most of the distortion which I thought was being caused by clipping was really the trunk license plate panel rattling (place where the plate rests on, black on dx model civics).

Quick product review.

I insulated the car using Fatmat and I have to say that stuff makes a huge difference and its pretty cheap. I paid 100.00 shipped off of ebay for 2 35 ft rolls.
I did the whole interior, it was definatly worth the time and money.

One comment on clipping lights. If they just flicker dont sweat them if they are on for extended periods of time then worry. The only real way to tell if your amp is clipping is to hook an oscilliscope up.

Those lights basically try to light up anytime they see DC on the output. Since your music is AC which is basically varying DC............well you see the problem.
