i just bought 2 diamond d6 2ome 10" subs. i was told to get a 1000wat RMS amp.

what does that mean. where can i get a cheap one. the amp that was hooked up to my subs was almost 1000 dollars. i would really like to spend about 500 any suggestions?

and this is just a random question about boxes. would there be any difference in sound if i made 2 seperate SEALED boxes for these subs and put one in each corner of the trunk? instead of 1 SEALED box in the middle ?

Re: amp questions (iwantspeed)
1000 watts RMS means it is an amp that outputs 1000 watts continously, not peak watts. Look for an amp that can do 1000 watts RMS into 2ohm (if that's how you're wiring them).

For a cheap one look on ebay. You can easily find one for $500 or less.

If you put your subs in corners facing each other, then you could have problems where one sub cancels the other = low output. I would experiment with it first to find the best possible location. Although, putting them in the middle facing the rear is how it's usually done, 'cause it works the best.
