Default need help: cut and weld intercooler end tank

so i just got this intercooler that i first intended to use on my project car, but have now diceded to mount it on my street car. its in need of cutting a piece of the end tank out and having another piece welded to close the end. i know alluminum is pretty hard to weld. i don't know if a tig welder will even do the job. do you think the guys at a radiator shop can weld this or do i have to send it out to have the job done right? what is the right way of welding a intercooler end tank.
