With 35 grand canadian, i bet you could afford a copy of auto trader, with change to spare for a pack of gum naw, i'd find another R, or used Supra TT.

 

You can buy my 1998 ITR for that.

Depends on what you want. If you liked the R get another. If you want something different a used supra is an option. Personaly I would buy a $500 beater to get around in temporarily, then I'd get a Evo VII when it comes...

I know someone in Markham, ONT that has the 1997 type R #0001 and he wants to sell it for 35k CAD. It is done up to the MAX. I think it had a JDM front end, CF hood, spoon big brake kit and a ton of other stuff. msg me if u are interested. My mechanic at Acura took a look at it and said if he had $35k cash he would get that for sure.

 

35k for a used ITR ? man i dont know i got mine brand new for 38k (OEM bodykit and A/C with clifford g400 alarm). even if the car is with JDM i dont really think it's worth it. coz i "think" even if u have JDM front end when u trade in ur car to the dealer they dont actually pay u much. and the fact i know with JDM u have to change the metal bumper, once u change it will insurence insure the car or when u have an accident will they pay for it ? since the car doesnt meet safty standard here in canada, insurence has the rights not to pay a penny for it !

 

Get a 92-95 Civic CX (max. $5000 can)
Build a nice B20, suspension and a nice paint job.
If you still have some change. Invest it and buy yourself a cup of coffee

Wasn't '97 #0001 used by Real Time? To my knowledge the first few Rs were quickly taken from the press and transformed into race cars. Correct me if I'm wrong.
