i know you want them slightly brown, but mine are poop brown. and i dont have any poop in my engine. no excessive smoking either, only normal smoke when getting on it.

setup is a y7/y8, 14b w/ uberdata basemap; probably running a little rich. it's getting tuned very soon.

anyways, there was also a little oil on the #1 spark plug. the car doesn't 'feel' as quick as it should be. are my rings bad? any other suggestions?

 

just sounds like u r running rich. get it tuned to get that **** sorted out. does it smell like gas?

 

no, doesn't smell very rich. the guy i got the basemap from tunes ALOT of cars, and he has a good idea of what maps should look like. i know every motor is different in terms of tuning, but it really shouldn't be THAT rich.

im just concerned that it might be oil causing the brownish color?

 

Probably a little oil blowby from somewhere, or an oil leak through a PCV or gasket tear somewhere. Nothing to worry about unless there's a ton of black tarry **** on there
