also.. my car is slightly buring oil and coolant..what could it be.. head gasket? water pump?
when i get on it.. smoke cuz barreling out.. blue and white combined i guess...
brand new clutch.. but the tranny chatters in 3rd.. and pops out of second so i bought another one.. cuz i think its the syrcros.. hope it solves the problem
but as for the cluth it is slipping.. (auto to 5 speed manual swap)

The thing thats going to cost the most is the new rings install. Because that involves pulling the block appart.
Everything else you should look at around 500 or so of install. Depends on where you go. Also if your doing the water pump do the timing belt too.

you might as well put a new motor in your car unless you're planning on doing this all yourself. i asked a reputable honda mechanic how much he'd charge to do my rings and he estimted $1200 just because you have to disassemble everything. I'd say you're looking at about $1800 in labor only, but then again, i'm sure some smart *** will get on and tell you otherwise. this is just what i know from experience.
i think you should do a lot of research and do the work yourself. nothing you mentioned is that hard, unless you have absolutely no experience with working on cars. if the latter is the case, i suggest you not even try. either way, with parts and labor you're going to spend an arm and a leg.

i can do the head gasket .. as far as the rings.. i never did it before..
my brother in law owns a junk yard .. so i might wait till he gets like an integra or somethng and take that engine.. well see.. but thanks for the info..
