Install the motor, axles etc...
Use your USDM GSR wiring harness.
Dont plug in: CKF plug on oil pump, VTEC Oil Pressure plug, IAB plug.
Plug in P73 ITR ECU
Start car
Good Luck it is a very easy swap.

You will have exhaust fitment issues if you use the ITR header.

looking in his sig. he has intake and header so i am assuming he has a motor in his car.

why are you going to do a gsr to type r swap?? Drop in some cams for your gsr and you would be fine unless the gsr motor is toast..

But should be a easy swap.

tis troo. i have a type r swap in my 98 gsr as well and the ITR header is too long for the gsr cat to fit right.

There is more to the 98 JDM ITR than Just Cams:
Throttle Body
Intake manifold
LSD 4.7 tranny
4-1 JDM Header
Polished Cylinder Ports
Valve Springs
Higher Compression
Engine extra engine brace on the tranny/engine
ECU

yes the stock gsr motor, bouht it with 80,000 miles, now it has 107,000 miles and is starting to burn oil. was thinkin of a rebuild but always wanted the itr. other than that oil burnin it runs fine and strong... while i had it i put a dc header, aem intake, and centerforce clutch.
