Default Knock Sensor help

I have a 93 del Sol Si. I took apart another wiring harness, put a new wire into my delsol harness into the ECU, i know its connected, and its in the right location. I ran one single wire into the knock sensor. one straight inline connection. Is there something that connects into the knock sensor somewhere? Is my Si del Sol prewired for a knock sensor and i missed it? I need some help. Thanks again.

Okay, here's a few ideas:

RE-chip your stock ECU (P28) to run the B16A. It will run better than the stock B16A P30 ECU because the fuel and tinming maps will be better, you can have a higher redline (for when you get cams and valvetrain later), and you can have a better VTEC x-over than stock. IM user "kenji" here and he can tell you more. He re-chips the ECUs very good - I run one of his on my Type R motor.

Second idea if you're stuck on the P30 ECU:

Check that site for wiring help. Good luck!

Knock sensor wire should be sheilded, also make sure the actual wire is in the right
pin on the conector, if you are looking at the top of the connector the red/blue wire should be to the right if you are looking directly at the pins. it could just be off a pin fifty fifty chance if you did not use original connector, did you wire it direct from ecu to conector? If so check for continuity with a ohm meter from d3 to the pin if it is not there find the opening,Jason
