Default Del Sol Problem

Ok so heres the thing. I have had this '93 del sol si for about 2 years but i have never gotten into the whole tuning scene till recently when a friend said something to me about it. Anyway the point is that my speedometer does not work at all. The odometer works just fine all the time but the speedometer doesnt work at all. someone told me one time that it was impossible for the odometer to work and not the speedometer.

Someone please give me some advise if you can. Thanks!

No I hadnt cause I was hoping that when they put in the new motor about 3 or 4 years ago that they hooked everything up right. but if that is all up to par what else could it be?

The needle could also be sticking or something,t hat is a wierd proplem. At least you know the proplem lies in the cluster so you can allways swap that out if nesicary.

are you throwing and CELs? im guessing either your needle for the speedo has died, or the plug on the back of the cluster somehow came loose? how long has it been doing this? ever since the new motor?

Dude there is something physically wrong with the gauge, no wiring issues nothing like that. There is ONE motor in there that drives the thing that I can see in it.

Not a chance, because the vss sends the signal to tell cluster for the millage part of the guage too

You neeed a new one simple as that, or try to see whats wrong with yours.
