High Pitched squeal from distributor area??

High Pitched squeal from distributor area??
I installed a new cap and rotor during my swap and it was fine up until today when it started making this high pitched squealing noise. I took the cap off and checked to see if the rotor was on tight. It was. I am at a loss to what is making the noise. Can anyone help??

when you hear a sqeaking noise from the distributor, more than likely the distributor bearing is going out. either get a rebuild kit(hard to do), or get a new distributor.

It's about to go bye bye!!! Thats what happen to me. Now you hvae to find a distribitor. And they are hard to find. Go find a Ls one. It works.
