which Bearing is worn out , when:

engine idling / neutral

Step on Clutch pedal = good ( no noise)

step Off Clutch pedal = Noise / Grinds

mine was throwout bearing... or inputshaft bearing cant remember....

 

it Only happens When : idling w/ clucth pedal is Off ( not down)

btw, which one is /where ; input shaft bearing?

 

I believe that would be the input shaft.
Someone correct me if I'm wrong, because I was told sitting at lights all the time with the clutch in would eventually ruin the throwout bearing.

I'd check out napa. Or if you have the cash. Go to honda. But napa is good too.

 

it's only like $5. Just sucks that you have to take the tranny off to get to it.

No it is not the same bearing.

 

how much the labor cost normally?

how long it will last (its been a couple months)?
