ticking/knocking in the head.
I just installed my b16a2 swap and started it up and theres a pretty loud knocking type sound in the head on the timing belt side. The engine came from JDM Customs and is said to have 25k to 35k miles. Is it normal for a freshly started Honda engine to do this or could a lifter or something be sticking. Thanks

ive heard of this, but not experienced it.
you never know how that engine was treated. it may need a valve adjustment.

valve adjustments are real easy to do just search there quite a few write-ups on it. i bet thats what it is since its only on one side of the engine
