Default quick question about sticky stuff on botom of da

i herd that this stuff can be chiped off. has anybody done this? how much weight will the car lose? what is the pourpose of it?

your talking about the sound deadner stuff right? if so, i used a screwdriver and hammer...took me awhile but i got it out...i hear you can you dry ice to help out. search around for it.

are you talking about the undercoating on the bottom of the chassis or the "tar" on the cabin? the tar you can remove with a heat gun and a chisel and hammer....or you can use dry ice, but be careful you can damage your undercoating. i believe the tar weights around 40 lbs. if you are talking about the undercoating you dont want to remove that, it protects your under body.
