Default Best ECU for 91 Accord LX Automatic

What ECU would you suggest for my 91 Accord LX Automatic? and where is the best place to get it? I have the original F22.

Performance chip is what i meant. I'm looking at hondata. Based on my auto trans i need the OBDI system S300. The S100 and S200 are for manual only. Bare with me here. I am learning as i go and this is an area that i do not know very well.

Then you don't need Hondata. Besides that, you only need to go this route when you are running serious mods (i.e.-lot of power, boost, etc.). If you're hoping to make power out of a stock setup with a computer, it's not gonna happen.

I have a decent start on performance upgrades. Cold air intake, DC 4-2-1 Header, Cat-back exhaust, Underdrive pulleys, Fuel Pressure Regulator, 440cc injectors, and Adjustable Cam gear. Those along with many exterior mods...body kit shaved side trim, handles, vis carbon fiber hood, rims etc. Coilovers, shocks, strut bars also. I am looking to make a lot of power now. I know engine swap and converting to manual tranny is a good idea. At least with ecu upgrades can't i get significant power out of better fuel/air mixtures and timing adjust ments among other things?

You only need to tune further once you start messing with the internals/compression/etc. of the engine. For example: On a boosted car it is very important that you maintain a stoich a/f mixture throughout the powerband and at different levels of boost. This is where ish gets complicated and a modifiable computer comes in handy.

With what you have now your looking at no more than maybe 3-4 hp for $800+

I was looking into converting to manual. Should i swap the F22 for the H22 motor and put in the h22 tranny. Or can i just fit the h22 tranny to the f22. Would that work or even be smart? What advice would you have for a boosted F vs a stock H?

you have to ask yourself what power goals you have in mind and what budget your own. the search option on this site can do wonders. not everything is covered for any particular question but it can eliminate you asking repeated questions. i myself have went with the h22. i am just underway with converting to 5spd though. whether or not i want to go all motor or boosted, my likes would still be with the h22. more power than the f22. more potential if all motor and even more if its built right with boost. a properly built h22 with boost will own a f22 with the same boost levels.

If you want to make "m@d power" as you said. Swap the H and build on that
