Default throttle body coolent bypass

its on a B18a. I noticexd that coolent is routed thru the throttle body on the engine. I know alot of V8 guys bypass the coolent to keep the intake temp cooler, will it harm anything with emissions or warm up? im trying to clean up the engine bay and while im in there im doing the little things too. Thanks

I don't think you guys get that cold in NC, but that coolant loop is there to help you warm up during cold winter and it helps your car get up to temp faster.

For hot weather, removing it helps performance a little (like a CAI help performance a little).

well it does get below freezing here in the winter. Man i love snow, so im gonna keep it plumed the way it is. Ill just re-route it with one hose instead of the 2 with connectors that it is

Thats the FITV (fast idle thermo valve). It idles your car higher untill it warms up.
