Default I dented my car

Hey guys, I am a newb on this board. I was just wondering, but i have a 2005 accord and accidently backed into my dads blazer backing out of my parking space. The good part is that the dent is between the gas fill lid and the rear tail light on the drivers side and extends just above and below the door for the gas fill. The paint is not scratched. I hit his rear mounted spare tire, which had a cover on it. Can I just pop this dent out or would the paint be cracked and would it be wavy? It just happend and I would like to take care of it or have it taken care of before its there too long. Should I just have a body shop do it since I have no experience with body work? Please let me know I am interested in just getting it removed. I can provide a picture if one is needed. Let me know.

TIA
Jason

You can pop the dent out but it still won't look as good as if you had'nt hit anything.

If the dent isn't huge, take it to a detail shop for paintless dent removal. Should cost less than $75.

I work at a school and talked to the body shop teacher and he said that if the dent is popped back out the paint will crack meaning it needs a touch up there. I didnt understand that but I did kinda understand the whole wavyness afterwards

it depends, door ding and minor low speed dent can be pop out

sometime you can get away without a paintjob

your autoshop teacher just assuming it's a big dent, which do require a touch up or paint.

there's place that remove all ding for a panel around 50 buck, i think it's called ding wizard or something, go to your local bodyshop and have an estimate.

Any dent removal place can usually take care of these unless it's huge like stated above.
