I was thinking it might be neat to have a thread in this forum for us to post and compare G-force data. I will get it started with one of my old (2004) plots from Beaverun.

5h run ever in kC's RX-8. the g graph doesn't tell you much though.

kC's g circle from the same day, only a few minutes after mine.

 

here is a graph that shows a little more of what is going on. my run is the black line in the top graph, kC's is the red. the two graph's below that are the rate of time slip and total amount of time slip. very valuable to compare where one driver is loosing time compared to another. on the rate of time slip graph, anytime the line is below the zero x-axis kC is loosing time, above he's gaining time. i'll post up the track map in a second.

 

it's hard to see the difference in the lines with this map, but the one major area to look at is the finish left hander. keith dove into that corner and early apexed it very early, killing his exit. if you look at the time slip near the finish, you'll see a spot that he gained a huge chunk of time. his early apex into that corner was faster, despite me having a better exit.

it was a borrowed DL1. i don't have my own yet. iirc you posted a reveiw of some loggers. you don't happen to have a link to that thread anymore, do you?
