Favorite Brand Speakers 6x9's

To my knowledge the only company that makes 5-ways is Pioneer and the knock-offs of Pioneer, such as SPL/Power Acoustic and others.
I own Pioneer TS-6995's, but I've had the chance to listen to Sonys, Kenwoods, Infinitys, JBLs , Alpines, and bargain basement brands.
The Infinity's have excellent sound quality, the JBL's are clean and like to play loud, the Alpines are clean too, I liked the Sonys for their sound quality as well and thier bass response, my Pioneers are a bit bright but I like them and haven't changed them in over 2 years.
If I were to buy new speakers I'd pick Infinitys.

5 ways are useless, these are goin in your rear deck i assume? You won't ever hear most of those notes the 5 ways claim to play. If you want some decent 6x9's i have some pioneer 3 ways. 20 bucks, let me know. For real though, just save money and get some decent components for the front and use some halfway decent 6x9's for the rears. You gonna amp whatever you get?
Boston makes a couple 6.5" comp. set ups that comes with a plate for 6X9". They sound awesome and they can be mounted both component or coaxial style. They make two models with these plates in the box. The "Z6" and the "Pro60". They can get pricey, but my shop just did an install of Z6's in the front and Pro60's in the back and I must say, it sounded amazing.
