you might can do it, but do you know what to do once you get it opened?

there's a lot more to it than just making it pretty inside

I've got a 287hp B20/VTEC that can prove otherwise, but, its pointless. I've seen engines on the dyno myself, at least 5 times, making awsome power. I've seen side by side comparisons of "other" head porters work and his, on the flow bench, then on the Dyno. But go on preaching your gospel, but, do it because you have something to back it up, not just hear-say.

you have a 287whp engine....is that at the flywheel

if not, prove it

and i've seen his head work on a flow bench as well.

and whos to say if you saw REAL numbers or fabricated ones..... look back at the h22 thread...there's some fabircated numbers he posted. if he's lied once, he'll do it again.

If you look, I said 287hp, not 287whp. 287hp rated on the engine dyno. I have the chart, in both graph and table format. It also made 187ft/lbs of torque...not to bad for a stock stroke B20/VTEC on pump gas, right?

Ohh, and I've seen the H22 you are referring to, in his shop. Not much he can do about chewed up rocker pads on the H22...it seems everything about that engine sucks.

Anyway, back on subject:
here is a photo from Endyn's shop of a skunk2 cut open to be ported...

here is something "special" I saw when I was up there:

287hp...so what's that at the wheels then?

and don't even try to bring back up the "rocker pad" BULLSHIT

Dunno, still getting the car put together, but I should have it to a Dyno soon, but should be ~250whp. Not too shabby, at least I don't think. I could get more if I used a header that cost 2-3x as much, and I could get more if I reved it to the moon, and I could get more if I upped the compression and ran race gas.

I'm not going to argue with you here about this, take it to PMs if you want to dicuss it further.

Dont sweat it people...Rob is just a hater by nature. You could build a 17,000awhp metro that runs low 2's@mid 400's and hed still find something negative to say about it!

Although Larry has made some questionable claims that he cant back up...his engines still make power. They might not make as much as he claims but they usually dyno just as much if not more than other builders with a similar setup.

But i guess its hard to see some things when youre busy swinging from a "certain" shops sack...

I'm getting popup reports from this thread, but I'm assuming since two moderators are posting in it that you have a decent handle on it.

Eh?
