IS THERE A GUY IN THE NORTHEAST THAT WOULD HELP BURN ME A TURBOEDIT OR CHROME CHIP???????
LIKE IT SAYS I WANT A CUSTOM CHIP FOR MY OBD0 PWO ECU I HAVE I/H/E AND WOULD LIKE TO GET THE MOST OUT OF ME SETUP I GOT CASH AND WOULD LOVE TO DO IT ASAP
Your Honda ECU is smarter than most people think. A 1988 - 2000 will adjust its own tables up to 1.3psi of boost and 25% more air flow. You might be saying how do people boost with stock MAP sensors, well the sensor can read boost, but not the ECU. It learns and adapts to your mods. That’s why if your running stock internals you don’t need to tune your ECU for basic bolt-ons. Even adjusting your distributor wont do anything, the ECU learns and adjusts the spark tables. Your ECU wants 14.7 and will do anything to get it. The 2001+ and newer ECU can read boost

FAIRFIELD COUNTY BUT JUST TO KNOW ANYWAY HOW HARD IS IT TOTUNE CHROME OVER TURBOEDIT I LOOKED AT TURBOEDIT A WHILE AGO AND READ A MILLION **** ABOUT HOW TO TUNE AND EVEN PLAYED WIT A FEW MAPS. IT TOOK A WHILE BUT GOT THE HANG OF IT IS CHROME HARDER PERSAY COMPARED TO TURBOEDIT ON EASE TO USE
I dont know to much a bout the tuning world because iv'e never had to go through it myself. This i do know. Turboedit does not directly support vtec w/ PWO or any jdm ecu for that matter but if you read around you will see that this has been overcome by using the a/c relay etc.. ect..unless there has been an upgrade recently. secondly...you should beable to find someone to tune turboedit and uber. for you specially if you do it yourself. As for chrome. there is a guy in pa that tunes down there unfortunately i forget his name but have heard it is worth the commute. hope this helps. Go to pgmfi.org and you should find what you need.
pwo is what i have. If i run turboedit i might just use a diff ecu non vtec and add it with a vtec cntrlr. Not sure yet. will prolly look more into it two months from now when i get into the wiring of the car.
