You're trying to put an S2000 hood on a Prelude aren't you? Pick up an ASM IS Design Aero Bonnet for the S2000, I heard it fits perfectly.

Not quite, im putting an s2000 front end on my prelude then replicating the modified to fit panels in carbon fiber.

so does the bonnet really fit as from what i can see the size is very different?

Im used to it by now, just bare in mind that the car will also be running about 400 bhp so its not just show and no go.

also i live in the UK where show is still bigger than go.

simple question which needs a simple answer

51 inches wide at top
28 inches wide at nose
52 inches long

These are aproximate mesurements. By bonnet, I think you mean the hood.

Thanks for the info, and yes sorry I should have said Hood but in my defence im from England.

thanks again, its difficult to get info from either the S2k or Prelude boys as I kind of go against everything oem, but then thats what I like.

400 bhp space frame prelude/s2000 here we come

I can't say that I necessarily agree with what you're doing but it's your choice. First and foremost, your mod should make you happy.

I'm glad to help.

I can understand why most would not approve in me doing this but I do have very good reasons.

A. because I can.... I am just starting up my own bodyshop and this would be a great advestisment for me.

B. front end conversions are unheard of in the Uk really so again it goes a long why to help my future.

thanks

Looks like a photochoped picture. I'd be really interested to see a picture of your car once finished.

yes your right it is chopped, but I had to do this to see if my idea could actually work. also I just used pics from google so i agree yes the wheels are ugly

also im very suprised to see that ive not been beaten into a corner by posting that link.

well once the project is started then I will keep you updated,

also im finding it difficult to find front end parts to actually do this, are they main dealer only or is there a place where i can by oem parts from??

that looks horrible.....

you'd be better off making a custom widebody kit for it instead of trying to put a s2000 front on there...

Is this seriously your project? Looks like the aborted aftermath of the mating of a humpback whale with carrot top.
