Default Body Kits

Does anyone know if areodesigns body kits on EBAY are any good? They have a 98% feedback rating, and guarantee a direct fit, bolt on body kit. Anybody have any history??

If they are fiberglass, don't mess with em... first pothole and you're fucked. It's worth the extra money to get PolyUrethane bumpers.

Well I don't want to pay much more for the kit then I did for the car. I got it for 500 bucks with only 120k miles on it last year. But the kit is fiberglass... check it out http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...ZWDVW

Does anyone know of any kits for a 90-93 Accord 2 dr out there?

dont ask people what they think of the body kit you like... if you like it, get it. Most people here on HT I can tell are not huge fans of exterior styling other than add on lips and light weight wheels...

Yeah I'm sort of debating whether or not to "kit it up," but my stock bumpers are f'd up so I was figuring if I was going to pay 200 for bumpers, might as well pay 4-500 for a kit.

First of all, I never meant for the topic to turn into a debate about whether or not you liked my kits. What I DID mean for was to ask about the reliability of the companies and whether or not I could get a quality product from the companies.
AND Second of all, I'm not fans of the kits I showed either, they were just examples.

If I was you, I would get some stock bumpers from an OE quality company as oppose to getting them from a honda dealer (online or from dealership)
Ive got an 02 sdn, and I have purchased both the 01-02 style and the 98-00 style bumpers (couple accidents w00ps) eahc one cost $100 CDN including Taxes..... Thats real cheap...I got my back for $96 incl Tax... Then my front lip was $90 shipped, and I bought sides and 2 rear apron add ons and a wing for $350 shipped... Thats $440 CDN for all bumpers and lips, AND spoiler.... You just gotta look around, be patient..
But when it comes down to it..... Get what you think looks good..Its your money

I think the body kit can make a car look very shitty, I'm sorry.. but most... and I mean...MOST of the cars I see with body kit just look like crap, they body kit is usually "wavy" and looks like is about to fall off.... Try a lip kit or something, but keep the stock looking..... ...it's a little ridiculous to see a car looking so "big" with a body kit when you know that car could easily be smoked by a "geo metro"!!!!

why would you want a skyline bodykit, do you have a skyline? people will drive down the road and be like, oh look at that skyline, only it has 130hp and they beat the **** out if it in their mustang and then youll be the guy driving the poser skyline, im not the biggest fan of body kits, but when you really want one, you gotta know whats up and go with the best, BOMEX all the way, friend has one for his AWD TSI Talon but never put it on because it made the car look like a BMW, it was huge, anyways, do what you want man, dont let anyone on here make you change your mind.. except about that skyline bodykit, dont do that

Fiberglass front bumpers are teh sUx0r. I got fiberglass sides and rear though and after two years they still look pImP y0. My car is pretty low too. Gotta have a stiff suspension and know how to drive.

yeah i def. agree that you should get what you want. its your car, so you should like the way it looks. Some poeple are going to like it and some aren't. Polyurethane is really nice, mainly because it is a little more flexible and sturdier than fiberglass. But with fiberglass when it breaks you can fix it easier than with polyurethane. As far as if that company is good, i have no idea. main point of me writing this though is because you will barely find a body kit that is a perfect fit. that is why they tell you to have a body shop do it. which by the way if you do get it see how long they say you have before you can return it because for a lot of places it is only 24 hours, which means you need to have it in the body shop or putting it on yourself the day you get it, so if something is horribly wrong you can return it. but i don't know of too many body kits that actually bolt right on. lip kits do though, which is really nice. but for the more agressive look of a body kit, you will rarely find one that is a perfect fit. good luck.

I've been wanting a kit for the last year since I got my car... But now I'm scared straight. I'm going to buy the stock bumpers from a aftermarket parts dealer in Tucson. They want like 84 for the front, 77 for the rear. Not bad at all.

Next: Anyone know where I can get a door skin and the kick trim for a 91 Accord 2 DOOR.

MORE IMPORTANTLY!!!: F22B JDM 2.2 160 HP Turbo'ed or H22 200 HP Turbo'ed WAY LATER after I build the crap out of it??????????????????
First I need a tranny swap. Damn I'm screwed.

Best bet on the door skin is a salvage yard.

As far as the motor... a built and boosted H is next to unstoppable in an Accord... IF YOU DO IT RIGHT!!! Do your research and build the motor BEFORE you put it in the car. If you do it right and pick the right turbo setup you can easily make over 600 whp at full spool.

Ok I'll check the yards. But as far as the engine is concerned: I'm not looking for 600 HP, I was thinking in the 350-400 range would be great because it will be my first swap, on my very first car. I'm only 18 and that would do nothing but get me in trouble.

Do a light build on the F series you have and boost it. Theres many guys on here puttintg 250 to the wheels on stock internals. Build a little bit and that number gets better.

Those are my initial thoughts exactly. But my transmission is automatic, and it keeps trying to crap out on me. So I figured I might as well change it all.
