why are you going to swap!?......save that money and boost! you won't regret a single penny! even if it has high mileage you'll save more money just rebuilding in and boosting! you can get a good turbo setup for around 1500 and rebouild your motor for about another 2 grand! a c5 will run up to almost 5000 complete and a gsr will run 4000 complete thats not including labor if your not doing it your self!

hmmm well i really have been considering to supercharge.
but arent they high maintenence and chance of blowing your motor and stuff.. by all my research it really has seemed that boost isnt right for me.
i just really wanted a beast c5 NA motor and go the extra mile on the $. what would be better for the track?

depends on what kinda of track...strip or a course? and boosting and supercharing are two deifferent settups... from what i'v heard turbo is more efficient and not as hard to maintain. all you need is a good ecu settup hondata prefered...and good tuneing you'll forget about the scream of vtec and fall in love with the hiss of a turbo in a heart beat!

well if i was to go turbo id supercharge. and ive been in boosted tegs before, but i really think a turbo would be to much and maybe not for me. and i wouldnt just want to drag but moreso hit the track. how would a turb hold up on the track?
it would be nice to have a small turbo boost in the lower rpms to fill the low torque tegs have. is that possible?
