Default considering an 99/00 Si or a 98+ GSR

My CRX was broken into, and I just don't have the motivation to fix the damage, and at this point I just want a close to stock car thats reasonable quick and reliable. I prob won't go beyond i/h/e, suspension, and cosmetic mods.

I'm not asking for someone to make up my mind for me, in the end I'll decide myself. I just want to know you're opinions and experiences. Anything goes.

Why? What experiences have you had with either?

The Si is too torqueless for my taste. The insurance will probably be a lot lower on the Si, but the GSR will be a lot more fun to drive.

I used to have a '00 Si. Had it a little less than a year then sold it for a '98 GSR. I love the Integra and never even miss the Civic.

Both cars being completely stock too. Integras are simply a better car than a Civic, they are similar yes, but so much more refined.

The only thing I miss about that Si was the fact it had less miles and less maintenence issues but that's my specific case.

My insurance on the Si was 195/mo, compared to this GSR's 215/mo.

Both cars drive very alike, but yes the GSR is faster, not by a hell of a lot but it is a better platform, and a nicer car all around.

i would go with the GSR....99-00 SI's arn't all that..stock for stock GSR would own a SI with a good decent driver. to me SI gears are way too short...good if its for a project car but if you want a DD car GS-R would be better. gears are short but not too short. 80mph at 4000 rpms compared to the SI 4500 rpm's at 80mph......and if you get I/h/e depending on what brand it would get annyoing driving on the freeway at 4500 rpms IMO.

Yeah I had a B16 in my CRX, I'm afraid the Si is gonna feel really slow in comparison. Thanks for your input everyone!
