Default just bought an rs for 1000

hello everyone i am new to the whole teg scene, i own a 91 civic hatchback, i am trying to sell it because last wendsday i bought a 1994 teg RS for a garage down the street from me, he wanted 1500 for it but i told him i only had 1000 so he say sounds good, so i payed him and drove it home

it is a 1994 red integra rs(no sunroof)
5 speed manual trans
no a/c
155,000 miles ( he said it was never driven hard a girl traded the car for a jetta i think (gay vw ) never drove it hard
it hit a deer on the pass front head light so there is little body damage, nothin you can see without popping the hood, the head light bolts at the top to keep it is place broke. cracked turn signal a couple of rust spots in the usual spots , rear fender wheel wells and it has the shittiest paint job i have every seen, but i dont care i will fix everything (body work) and then paint it the color of my hatchback, it is almost like gunmetal grey. i like it. both air bags wen toff because the deer hit in the spot the sensor was so i got a new steering wheel cover (gutted airbag) and i need to find the tray for the pass dash but beside that i would have to say it was a very very good deal for $1000 i have a 10 temp plate on it right now and i will be going to get it perminately registered with in the week.

Any way the things i was planning to do was fix the front end and maybe buy a type r front end, if not just buy a stock front end(complete i need the head lights and fenders and hood, bumper) so if anyone is doing a jdm front end i will buy the usdm frond dont care what color. and i need a new rear bumper
slamm it, get ride of the ugly rims it has on it now and buy some blades and then paint it and call it a day i have no pics of it rght now, they are on my friends camera i am going to his house later to upload them onto ht so look out but i wire tuck the engine bay as best as i could took out what was not needed soi will be having fun with this car if you have an suggestion or comments welcome, flame on

yea i hear ya. i bought my winter beater(94 4dr teg) for $510 from a dealership in danbury. i know the owner, so i got one hell of a deal. interior is in good shape but carpet has some stains, only thing wrong with the exterior is a dent by the taillight and the rear bumper was hanging. im getting a friend to do all the bodywork fairly cheap and maybe shaving the moldings too.
i think i have a 94 front bumper, headlights, clear corners, and one fender(lil dings). the hood i need so i can store my car outside. i wont leave the cf one out for winter.

two of my friends go to NEIT and that is where is i am right now but one of them go for auto body and the other one goes for auto mechanics, and next year i am going to auto mechanics aswell, (a sweet all motor in the works) haha i think i have not desided yet, so many danm desions. anyway. one of them has all the pics opn his comp and he is going to send them to me asap aka 15 min. i got it on wensdays and brought it to my house and the interior on my car is soooo mint all it needs is a good vaccuming.
and *** for the front end that you might have, how much do u want for the bumper headlights and bumper lights and as for keeping it outside the apt. that i live in just got sold so the ******* new owner took the garage away from me and no i have to keep my car outside and the people around the streets are kind of sketch. but what ever i will kill some if they try to take my car

For your schweet all motor build, I suggest doing something along these lines....

-Mild PnP
-Crower 404 w/ JG Cam Gears
-Crower Valvesprings
-Ferrea SS Valves
-Cometic Head Gasket
-Skunk2 IM
-64mm TB
-Modified Iceman intake
-JDM ITR 4-1 header w/ 2.5" collector
-No Cat
-2.5" custom piping and exhaust
-P30 B16 Pistons
-Stock Rods
-GSR Tranny w/ LSD
-Exedy Flywheel
-Clutch Specialties 6-puck clutch
-Chrome
-Chipped P75

This is Hybrid_Vtec's setup list, and I believe this got him about 180whp after tuning. If you want to make more than that, then its time to bore that bitch out to a 2.0 liter, or swapping in a B20 block

Oh and your rims are gay, dont be a gay gay man. If you want one of these weekends we can try doing some wetsanding to the car to make the paint shine again, or I can just sand that **** and spray it for you.

Nothing is "wrong" with the engine bay. I would love to show you a picture of my bay because there is nothing in it. The spaces you could be talking about might be the missing AC condenser and fan setup. It might also not have ABS, which takes up a fair amount of room in the bay.

Hey it sounds like you got a sweet deal on this. I have a question. Is there any procedures when you power wash your engine bay?

try 2 cover up most of the wires, and anything that probably shouldnt get wet. possibly tape down a few garbage bags.. then spray it down with the powerwasher/hose. but dont go crazy with the water, it is your engine bay..

but anyway nice deal whats up with all these 94+ tegs goin for cheap? i want another one too!

as far as the power washing and cover up all electrical outlets, i did not do that first i simple greened the **** out of the engine spray just about everywhere but the dizzy and the alternator, then i turned the car on so the engine was worm and i sprayed the **** out of it, i tried not to spray near the dizzy and othe electrical plugs but if hte get a little wet it is fine as long as your not sitting there spraying it wiht water. i cleaned everything, the block is pretty damn clean now and the tranny kind of look new, haha (kind of haha) but i washed it bafore i wire tucked so when in moved all the wires there was still dirty but it was still god damn cleaner than before, i am going to do it again prob this weekend if it is not cold. i also did the bottom of the hood and that came out nice no more oil bullshit on it and now that it is clean i can look for if i am leaking any oil anywhere so that is good, i wil try to keep updateing when i get the front end.

i dont kno which to get tho a new 94 front end or a 98+ front help me out
