'98-'01 GSR wheel ?
These are the polished 6 spoke 4-lug wheels on the GSR.
Are these supposed to be directional with respect to both sides of the car (Are there left and right side only wheels?)?
Mine are not and I want to make sure that this is how they are supposed to be and not some kind of screw-up.

So the vanes/spokes should be going in different directions on each side?
I guess this means they have no real cooling effect on the brakes, either.

yeah.. i think they were just lazy and used 1 mold for all the wheels.... the other years were symmetrical ( the 94-95 5 spoke blades, the 96 star, the 97 mesh) these wheels weren't angled/pointing in any directions.. so they look the same regardless if you put it on the left or the right.. but since the 98+ are angled.. when u put it on 1 side.. they face 1 way.. and when its on the other it faces a diff way because of the angled spokes..
Thanks. I have an Integra brochure from the dealer I got when I bought it, but all the photos were taken so that you can't tell about the wheels.
I got tires put on over the weekend and I finally noticed this.

in my opinion, it is for this:
A. cheaper-maybe 10,000 bucks for a differnet mold- to Acura, it is pocket change (trust me- where I work they have carbon fiber beds on CT (CAT) scanners and they are >10,000 each- and they say they are cheap!!)
B. ever seen a car with the directional rims on wrong-- like there is a right and a left on each side? This is all messed up because people who work on cars do not pay attention and Acura knows this...they do not want their cars looking gay like the other cars out there with the rims on wrong.

Hey think about this my dad has 2000 GSR so do you think there is anyway I could switch with him so my 2001 GSR will have all directional wheels??? If it works what direction is best for me??? Just the thought

If all the 98-01 wheels are the same, what good would using identical wheels do?
The ONLY way you will get them the same on both sides would be to create your own wheel mold and have new wheels cast.
hmm that'd be the day when my dad gets a GSR.. thats pretty much like never.. since he looks at my car and tells me "hahah its so small it looks like an RC car" anyways...
i dont get your point.. if you have a 2K1 GSR and your dad has a 2K GSR.. arent the rims the same? their all the angled 6 spoke from 98+.. which your dads 2000.. and your 2001 would fall into the 98-01 category.. i dont see how changing rims w/ ur dad would change anything..
