As the title says, Where can I find a pair of used yellow JDM recaro seats?
I know they are available new, but 3,500-4,000 for seats is a bit out of the question.

I'm curious as well. Although, I've heard they get hella dirty.

 

I didn't realise how dirty mine already are till i saw that picture.

Your choices
Either get them new, Or if you find a set of Black or Red Recaros you can get just the New Cloth from Honda to ReCover the Red or Black with the Yellow fabric, Its about $1000-1200 for each seat though , So its probably the easiest to get them new.

 

So the options so far are, Buy the seats new for ~2,000 a piece, or buy them used for `1,500 for the pair, then reapholster them for 2,500? In other words, 4K either way.

 

see if you can have an HT member from any market that gets the seats to find some used

 

Ew yellow. I think black would be the best choice.

 

Yeah I orginally was going to get the Yellow ones, but then I realized that I didn't want to spend $4000 for the front two, $1800 for the rears, and $40 for the shift boot with yellow stitching

$5800 for seats is too much.. Besides "ThePunk" if your R got jacked recently, why put $4000 seats in it, for the thieves to come back and steal?

 

The R, is not going to be spending any time unattended outside of a patrolled parking lot, or secured in my triple locked, alarmed, video surveilanced garage.

 

Dion - I'll keep an eye open for any used ones, But I haven't seen any since they came out.
Best bet go for the black ones.

 

That is certainly what it is starting to sound like...(Maybe I can find a set of ripped/stained black or red ones real cheap...and do the upholstery trick)

 

for that price i would get aftermarket seats......there awesome range of buckets available!.....yellow gets tooo dirty and very easily!

LOL, I wouldn't worry about theft with a car with yellow interior...j/k no offense; yellow and red are both great colors on the R, but with moderation. Too much of either and it starts to look cheap and ricey.

 

I saw a used set for $2000 obo, i sent the link to you ThePunk.

 

The last thing you need to do is draw more attention to your car... The second to last thing you need to do is pay $4k for seats that are only slightly more functional that the stock USDM ITR seats. You could spend half that amount of money and get some real seats...

for those with yellow recaros(or any recaros for that matter),
what do you use to keep them clean ?
coz mine are getting pretty dirty.

 

I just frequently vacuum them. Find some alcantara or suede cleaner.

Not at all...since I sold the stock **** for more than $80, I basically got paid $10 to put the Mugen **** in my car. If someone is paying you to put the JDM Recaro's in your car, then by all means do it...
