suspension question
hey guys, this is a pretty stupid question, but can you and how hard it is to adjust the height of coilovers when they are on the car? is it even possible? or do you need to take them off
also, are there any special tools required?
same for shocks but i think you can adjust them while on the car

i would think your coil overs would come w/ some kind of wrench so you can adjust them w/o pulling apart the whole suspension... as for shocks are you talking about height adjustability or firmness/dampening? well i have the Koni yellows on regular Eibach sportlines (not coil overs).. you can adjust the firmness anytime by inserting the **** on the top of the shock and turning it towards firm or away from (depending on what you want to do)... as for heigh adjustability.. on the konis.. it has to be off the car and no load on the spring perch so that you can adjust the C-clip to whatever groove/perch setting you want it to sit on..
It depends on the coilovers you have, but in most cases it's much easier to raise the car than lower it. Lowering the car can mean you'll need to compress the springs to move the adjustable piece, and that's not easy with the struts on the car.
