Default replacing AC radiator

i dont know if radiator is what it is technically called but it looks like one. anywya, i had a fender benber a while ago and it punctured that radiator. how hard is it to replace that? is it DIY job? im mostly concerned with the freon.

If it got punctured, the freon is probably gone now anyway. You could install a new one (from a junker, etc.) and then have an A/C shop re-fill the system with fresh juice. It's half-way a DIY project, at least. They do sell DIY canisters of freon at autoparts stores for pretty cheap, in a kit. You might be able to recharge your system with that, since you probably won't have to worry about recovery of old freon (which is primarily why you'd need to go to a shop).

well im going to get it recharged anyway so that part im not worried about and yea the freon is out anyway, i have no ac
