i just wanted morwe opinions but thx 4 bein so rude...lol. i heard eagle has its problems... where is the best place to shop 4 those rods and pistons? my block is at the machine shop now and its gettin machined, balanced, bored, sleeved, pretty much the whole nine yards. but they say they need the pistons and rods first before they can bore it out so i need to get that stuff soon.

....IMO, u should go with CP pistons & PAUTER rods. stay away from Eagle rods.
there junk. i also suggest you pick up a Dsport magazine,in the back youll be
able to find almost everything you need, and where to get it.

Yeah, eagles are so junk that people have made 600+ WHP on them numerous times. He doesn't need 800-1000 dollar rods when Eagles will do just fine.

Don't waste your money, eagles are good for 600 no problem. Just make sure you get the upgraded rod bolt which is 3/8. Don't get the 5/16 rod bolt.

All new eagle rods for hondas have some with the 3/8 bolts for quite a while

pauter is too overpriced for your build.... eagle or manley (manley preferrably)

Some people will argue that u need a blockguard but since you are resleeving then I don't see the purpose..

I have never heard anything bad about eagle rods. and ive heard nothing but good about cp pistons either. Im not sure on the quality but i know srp are some cheaper forged pistons. Either way raceengineering has deals on allthat stuff.

I would just use pistons rods and ARP head studs. i wouldnt us a block guard..if i was that concerned i would sleeve the block.

I thought you said your engine was in the shop getting sleeved? Where are you getting your work done? Do you know what size pistons you want? 81.5mm-85mm? What displacement are you going for? Doubt you need a block guard if your getting it sleeved. If you were on a budget you coulda skipped the sleeving and went with some 81.5mm forged pistons and rods and boosted the hell outa those stock sleeves. Some guys are making over 600whp with OEM sleeves.

I would get the eagle rods.

tehts wut I tinks...
