I'm just gauging interest in the car. I don't want to sell it, but it may be a better choice to let it go and use the money toward tuition for next semester (law school is not cheap :D ). So, make me an offer...

This car is one of TWO in the US (as far as I know), and the only one legalized. 100% legal, registered and smogs in California as a 1983 Nissan Skyline RS. It has been in the US for almost two decades and has a clear California title. It has just come back from filming (Fast and Furious 3 extra car)

Engine:
FJ20ET - Nissan's first (and best) 4-cyl DOHC (don't let the engine nomenclature fool you, it's a DOHC)
The T3 turbo is on its way out, so it may need a $300 rebuild at a local shop - the car still runs just fine (but doesn't get to full boost)
5-speed
Fully CA Smog compliant
156k kilometers, so about 96,000 miles

Suspension:
kg/mm springs
KYB shocks

Brakes:
recently replaced front rotors/pads and rear pads

Wheels:
15x7 +0 meshies

Boxes of parts, including spare head gaskets and other randomness, are included.

Insurance is very cheap as well, since this is a collector car. My premium is $300/year for full-coverage with Hagerty Collector Car Insurance.

Trade + Cash possible if you have something interesting (RHD Mini with a decent-cc engine, Triumph Dolomite Sprint, etc.), since I would prefer not to be stuck without in interesting weekend car :D.

Right now, offers have hit $11k on Craigslist (but we all know how dependable that place is ...

That's awesome, I've never seen an R30 before. If you use your imagination you can see the beginnings of the R32 in it.
